Welcome to the RefatBd Telegram Notification Service (the “Service”), accessible via https://tgapi.refat.ovh/api.php. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Service provided by RefatBd (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By connecting your website (e.g., via the “RefatBd notifications with Telegram for Woocommerce” WordPress plugin) and using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
The Service acts as a secure intermediary between your website (specifically, the compatible WordPress plugin) and the Telegram messaging platform. It receives notification requests containing message content and recipient Telegram Chat IDs from your website via a secure API key. The Service processes these requests and delivers them to the specified Telegram chat(s) using a bot managed by us. This architecture is designed to protect your Telegram Bot Token by keeping it off your website. The Service also facilitates communication initiated from Telegram back to your website (e.g., chat commands) and enforces usage limits for different service tiers.
2. Registration and Connection
To use the Service, you must connect your website through the provided mechanism (e.g., the “Fetch API Key” function in the companion WordPress plugin). This process involves sending your website’s domain and an auto-generated secret key to the Service to register your site and receive an API Key. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API Key and site secret.
3. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms, applicable laws, and Telegram’s Terms of Service.
You are responsible for the content of the notifications sent from your website through the Service.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including sending spam, unsolicited messages, or content that violates Telegram’s policies or any applicable laws.
Users of the free tier provided via the WordPress plugin acknowledge that message usage limits (daily/monthly) apply and are enforced by the Service. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary suspension of message delivery until the limit resets.
4. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service operational but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service depends on the availability of Telegram’s platform and may be subject to downtime for maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for any delays, delivery failures, or other damage resulting from such issues.
5. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy (https://refat.ovh/tgapi-privacy-policy), which details how we collect, use, and protect data transmitted through the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Termination
